Apple music event to be on September 9?

By Jim DalrympleAugust 17, 2009, 5:37 pm PT

We all expect an Apple music event in September — Apple does it every year, but they haven’t confirmed a date for this year yet.

John Paczkowski reports on AllThingsD.com it will happen on Wednesday, September 9. That makes a lot of sense. Late last week speculation focused on the week of September 7, which is typically when Apple holds its event.

The event could be held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, which is where it’s been held before.

Of course, The Loop first reported last week that the event would not include the introduction of Apple’s rumored tablet.

  1. JPP Zoso says:

itablet/ipad leak was brilliant. non one’s talking about the obvious. 09/09/09…entire beatles catalogue digitally remastered and re-released on cd and itunes. you heard it here first.

  2. Brian says:

I only hope Ringo and Paul are on stage with Steve. And I also hope they add in a feature where you can play some of the songs backwards without downloading some goofy one-trick utility program.

It could easily be remastered to the point where I’d rebuy all the Beatles Albums.

Expect Steve to take a dig at U2. ;-)
