TomTom’s long awaited GPS turn-by-turn navigation app is finally beginning to arrive in App Stores around the world.
The good news is, the app is appearing in a number of European countries, New Zealand and Australia. The bad news, at least for those of us in North America — none sign of TomTom yet.

Mac Rumors first carried the TomTom news earlier Sunday and had some interesting updates throughout the day. For instance, TomTom is selling cheaper localized versions of the app, so you can buy it specifically for your country.
TomTom is also offering a car kit that will include a car mount, enhanced GPS receiver, speaker and microphone. Pricing for the U.S. car kit was not available when Macworld interviewed the company in early July.
