Find a good blogging tool for the iPad or iPhone is tough. I’ve looked at several and can’t find one that comes close to the experience I expect. The WordPress app even deleted posts from my site, so I haven’t been too keen to blog from my device. Cody Fink thinks he found the perfect app for the iPad, although you’ll need a Squarespace account to use it. Still worth checking out.
While many of us have struggled or implemented some wonky workflow to blog on the iPad, you may just want to ditch your Movable Type or WordPress blog for Squarespace simply because their iPad app is quite frankly amazing.

Even once in a while you read something that literally makes you laugh out loud. It happens to us all — tonight, Daring Fireball’s John Gruber did it to me. The funniest thing about his statement is that it is absolutely true. He’s talking about RIM and its quest to beat the iPad.
This really gets to the heart of what’s wrong with RIM. They seem primarily focused on catching up to the iPad, when they still haven’t caught up to the iPhone.

Sony will launch apps for the two most popular mobile platforms, iOS and Android, in 2011, according to a new report. There are a couple of gotchas though. First, the apps won’t be available in the U.S. at launch and you won’t be able to play games with the apps (in case you were hoping for that).
With the 1.0 versions, users will be able to monitor their PlayStation Network trophies as well as friends’ games and online statuses. The apps will also deliver gaming news and PlayStation announcements, and it will let users share news or interesting product details via Twitter, Facebook and email.
