Perhaps one of the best Apple Intelligence decisions I’ve ever heard, the company announced this week that users will be able to swap Apple’s AI model to a rival’s to control the new AI system. That means you could use Claude or Gemini or another company that wants to have theirs available. Dave and I also talk about Apple’s decision to show advertising on Maps. A disappointing choice for a company that ridiculed Google for its advertising efforts to customers and saying Apple doesn’t treat its customers like the product.
