Steve Jobs talks Apple’s DNA

This is from Apple’s iPad 2 rollout, on March 2, 2011. Steve Jobs was on medical leave, came back for this event. Steve’s talk was interesting in and of itself, but as I watched to the end, I couldn’t help but feel an emotional appreciation in his voice.

Miss him.

  1. In the last few years of Steve’s life, his rhetoric became far more sincere and astute about Apple’s purpose and direction. Pundits could no longer liken him to a charlatan hawking snake oil. His perspective was as inspiring as it was insightful and honest.

  2. Sadly, at least one competitor continued to lob snark from either the clubhouse safety of their own developer conferences, or cheesy tv commercials.
