The idea that any joystick, keyboard or mouse needs an OS specific driver is just another way technology companies have failed us all.
Anything that isn’t Logitech Control Center has got to be a massive improvement. I just hope it isn’t from the same farmed-out dev who only fixes LCC bugs once per year if we do a naked chicken dance with dill pickles under a full moon.
