I’m interested in his views on revitalizing the pterodactyl population as well.
I’m very open to the “anything’s possible” philosophy because, in the tech world, it’s a truism. That having been said, this article is part RIM PR material, part wishlist and part rose-colored glasses. Could RIM make a comeback? Maybe, but if it does it wont’ be for the reasons this guy cites.

I guess he’s just a bit out of the loop with the younger generation. It’s all iPhones and Androids, unless the kid/parent is stuck in a contract. A year ago I begged my niece to get an iPhone, she got a blackberry. A year later she got an iPhone, and told me getting the blackberry was the dumbest thing she’s done in a long time.
The truth is it’s over for blackberry.

Anyone ever wander how come Jim hates RIM? I am confused since RIM is Canadian and absolutely not a threat to Apple.
Should Jim embrace RIM just because they’re Canadian if they’re doing an embarrassing job and destroying the worth of the company?

Contrary to (apparent) popular belief, every Canadian isn’t automatically in love with everything that is Canadian. Being Canadian isn’t like being in a cult.

That’s a pretty big ‘if’. If Apple, or Microsoft, or Samsung do the same, would he buy that too?
Another day, another petty dig at RIM. I’m surprised he’s not parading outside their headquarters with a “God Hates RIM” sign. Sad and unprofessional.
