∞ iTunes 10 billion app winner hangs up on Apple

I hate telemarketing calls. They always say that I’ve won some great prize and then try to suck you into buying something. It seems I’m not the only one that finds this aggravating.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Over the weekend, Gail Davis of Orpington, Kent, UK, downloaded the 10 billionth app from Apple, helping the company reach yet another milestone. However, when Apple called Davis to give her the prize, she hung up on them.

The Apple representative said she had won a $10,000 gift card and Davis said, “Thank you very much; I’m not interested,” according to Cult of Mac.

Davis did hear back from Apple and after realizing her mistake, she took the second call, making her daughters very happy.

Davis downloaded Paper Glider, an app that tests how far can you flick and fly a paper plane.
