Sophiestication Software is making its tip calculation software for iPhone, Tipulator, free on Friday for anyone who wants to download it.

The app does a few other things to make paying the bill a bit easier too. For instance, it will split the check between multiple people, leaving the guesswork out of how much each person owes.

Tipulator will also round the check total or tip amount automatically, if you want it to.
