∞ Supplier denies touchscreen iMacs sent to Apple

We may have to wait a bit longer for a touchscreen iMac. Sintek, the company rumored to have delivered the screens to Apple, has denied any involvement.

[ad#Google Adsense 300×250 in story]Barry Wu, VP and spokesperson of Sintek Photronics on Tuesday said the company was not making touchscreen samples for Apple’s iMac, according to a story on 9 to 5 Mac.

A report that surfaced last week suggested Sintek had already sent samples of the new touchscreens to Apple. At that time, the company was thought to be working on screens 20-inches and larger.

This isn’t the first time rumors of such a device have come up. Like rumors of many Apple products, a touchscreen iMac seems to be very persistent, but we have yet to see a product with the technology.
