I was amazed when I read the Guitar Hero review from our friends at 148Apps.com. Not only did the game not live up to the hype of years of great console releases, the review said the game wasn’t worth the wait and that it was just disappointing. You would think Activision would have been able to do better with this release, but it still probably won’t stop a lot of people from buying it.

The interface is cramped and never feels comfortable on neither an iPhone-sized device nor on the iPad running in 2X mode. As well, the new sliding mechanic, while it takes time to get used to, never stops feels like it was merely inserted to differentiate the game on the iPhone from other platforms’ versions, and it doesn’t add to the entertainment value or authenticity of the game.
