∞ Game designer American McGee likes the iPad

American McGee, formerly of Id Software (makers of Quake and Doom) is a well-respected game designer in his own right, with a string of titles that bear his name, including “American McGee’s Alice,” a trippy retake on the classic Alice in Wonderland story that was brought to the Mac. Now he’s turning his attention to the iPhone and iPad with “American McGee’s Crooked House.” In an interview, McGee called the iPhone platform “truly refreshing” and says he and others in his company – Shanghai, China-based Spicy Horse (and its iPhone-specific subsidiary, Spicy Pony) – are looking forward to developing for iPad.
