∞ Sandvox training videos released

Long time Macintosh developer, Dan Wood, released a new set of training videos this week for his Web site building tool, Sandvox. The training videos are divided into five sections: The Basics, covering general document management; Page Components, describing the many types of pages, pagelets and collections; Moving Along, delving into topics such as blogging, making use of the inspector, and customizing designs with banners and logos; Getting Published, showing how to upload a site to any web host, with specific tutorials on three of Karelia’s hosting partners; and Advanced Features, walking the viewer through tasks such as injecting custom HTML code onto the page and performing Search Engine Optimization with Google’s tools.

While Sandvox is an easy application to use, it is very powerful. I’ve watched a number of the videos and they are quite good in taking you from an overview of the app’s interface to more in-depth looks at the features of the app.

The Sandvox training videos are available as online for $69 (until May 25 and then they will cost $79), and as a DVD for $139 (until May 25 when they will cost $149. The DVD has videos in three sizes 640×480, 1024×768 and iPhone-ready videos 480×360.
