FileMaker on Tuesday announced the release of Bento 3 Family Organizer, free templates for FileMaker’s Bento software. A free 30-day trial of the Bento software for Mac is also available.

Bento, based on FileMaker Pro, is a personal database and organizer application. It enables you to manipulate contact and calendar information, manage projects, to do lists and more. FileMaker has developed versions of Bento to work on the iPhone and iPad as well, so you can take your databases with you.

Bento 3 Family Organizer includes five pre-designed templates developed especially for families. The templates include bill tracking and payment; a chore chart; meal planner; shopping list; and weekly routine.

The templates work with the Mac, iPhone and iPad versions of Bento, according to FileMaker.
