In addition to its holiday promotion, which we wrote about earlier this week, MacUpdate decided to give away two apps to its users for free. MacUpdate said on its Web site that it was giving away the apps as a token of their gratitude for a good 2009. “We registered record traffic each month, covered more software updates than ever before, sold a ton of software at great prices to our users, and released the all-new MacUpdate Desktop 5.0.”
