∞ Yojimbo 2.0 adds Tag Explorer

I don’t usually write about product updates, but when Rich Siegel and Bare Bones Software release a major new version of a product, it can’t be ignored. Bare Bones announced Yojimbo 2.0 on Tuesday with quite a few changes, including a Tag Explorer. According to the company, it gives users an overview of the relationships between the tags and the items you have stored in the app.

The app also now has a combined tag and label editor, as well as several improved items. The Quick Input Panel has been overhauled, so you can set the Flagged property, label and comments before creating the item. The input panel will automatically grab the name of the Web page if you are adding a URL.

PDF has been improved too. You can now set the name, tags, Flagged property, label, and comments when printing the item, before creating it.

Yojimbo costs $39. An upgrade is available for $20.
