Macworld Expo 2010 is over, and the show is being hailed as a success by many attendees. That is great news for IDG and the Mac community as a whole.
If you’re attending Macworld Expo this week in San Francisco, Calif. you might want to plan to go out Friday night to the Red Devil Lounge for a concert. The concert is being put on as a benefit for the earthquake victims in Haiti, and one of the bands playing — the Atomic Love Bombs [...]

I stopped by to speak with David Ellefson to get the latest on what he is doing while I was at NAMM last week. David is one of the best bass guitarists in the business and someone I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for several years.
Greetings from San Jose! I wrote this piece at NAMM 2010! Or, more accurately, from a rocking party at NAMM. I was taking a break from the shenanigans at the show (did you see that picture of me partying with Gene Simmons) to bring you cats up to speed with my beardly goings-on. Also, Face [...]
NAMM is one of my favorite trade shows because it combines great Mac software with musical instruments. Unfortunately, this year NAMM didn’t include a wireless network that actually worked for iPhone users.
One of the best drum companies on the market is FXpansion with its BFD series. The company introduced BFD Nano at NAMM, which is a new version of the sampler targeted to the beginner user. We stopped by and got a demo at the BFD booth.

iPhone OS 3.0 promises to be [...]
If the hush coming out of Cupertino isn’t enough of a signal that Apple is about to dazzle us with something at next week’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), perhaps the banners at Moscone are.
As AppleInsider reports, Adam Jackson took some nice pictures of Moscone West, the venue for WWDC. One of the banners in the [...]
