Deafening applause in the control room as SpaceX hits their mark

If you have a few minutes, watch the video embedded below, the webcast of SpaceX’s CRS-8 Dragon launch and the subsequent landing of the reusable first stage on the floating drone raft.

The deafening applause you hear is the emotional outburst from a control room full of SpaceX employees who have made this attempt 4 times before, only to watch their dreams crash and burn. This is a beautiful video, full of beautiful moments.
