Those of you looking for an Apple Watch can save some cash at Best Buy right now.

The retailer is offering a sale on both the entry-level Apple Watch Sport and the mid-level model of the Apple Watch. The sale price varies depending on the version.

Apple's smartwatches face competition from companies such as Samsung, LG and Motorola, though many consumers don't yet don't see smartwatches as must-have items. Still, the Apple Watch has sparked more interest in the category as a whole since it launched in April 2015, and market researchers estimate it has outsold its rivals. Apple itself has been mum about how many watches it has sold.

Both the 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch Stainless Steel models are on sale, with some going for $100 off and others $200 off depending on the band. The Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Case with the Black Classic Buckle is $200 off, selling for $499 from the usual $699. The Apple Watch 42mm Stainless Steel Case with the Pearl Woven Nylon Band is $100 off, selling for $499 from the usual $599.

The sale extends to the Apple Watch Sport model, with all variations on sale for $50 off the full retail price. As examples, the Apple Watch Sport 42mm Space Gray Aluminum Case with Space Gray Sport Band is selling for $299, while the Apple Watch Sport 38mm Rose Gold Aluminum Case with Lavender Sport Band is going for $249.

Apple Watch owners searching for a different band may also be able to save some money. Best Buy is offering a sale on certain third-party bands, anywhere from $4 to $30 off, depending on the brand and its full retail price.

The Apple Sport and Apple Watch models that are $50 and $100 off, respectively, will be on sale through June 18, according to a Best Buy spokeswoman. The Apple Watch models that are $200 off will remain on sale through June 25.

In March, the company trimmed the starting price of the Sport version to $299 from $349. That was Apple's first price cut since the smartwatch's debut.
