Everything wrong with wireless chargers
It hasn’t taken off because they aren’t solving a problem. It’s tech for the sake of tech.
I have a case with a metal piece in it, so it’ll stick to a magnet holder in my car. I actually have a wireless charger. left here by my daughter in law, I have never used it.
Last time I took my iPhone in for service they gave me a new one because one of the screws near the Lightning port had been stripped.
I’ve never tried to open it; I think it might have been me near-missing with a Lightning cable.
I bought an induction charger later that day.
That’s not to say the video is wrong. Everything about it is dead on. But wired charging also sucks, we’re just used to it and it’s for different reasons.
