It’s tough to be sure, of course, but I think if he’d stood still he’d have been narrowly missed… and “only” lost his equipment. But it would have been uncomfortably close!
Am I the only one really wanting to know if he held the shutter down while pulling the camera back and if those images are published yet?

My takeaway from this is why no one told that guy in front, to rotate his phone to avoid shooting a worthless vertical video of a screaming car going by… 😉
