Join us here September 12 at 10 a.m. PDT to watch the keynote, the first-ever event at the Steve Jobs Theater.

Leaks or not, I’m really excited for this announcement.

Yup, same here. I have been avoiding all rumours and leaks as much as I can. I don’t want to know until it’s announced.

  • I’m skipping any reading of my usual Apple news and blog sites today. Not all of them will be good at staying away from the iOS 11 GM leaks, and I want at least some surprise for tomorrow.

Although, I would like a little hint from T-Mobile if they are going to offer an upgrade-to-the-new-iPhone special like they did for the 7. I’m pretty sure I’m going to jump on it (I didn’t for the 7 since my 6S was fine; it still is, but, yeah, I can only wait so long).

Same here. Now that I no longer have to write articles about these announcements, I almost revel in not keeping up with all the latest rumors. As a bonus, it allows me to stay more in the present, as they say…focused on enjoying what I have rather than always looking ahead to the next thing I might buy. When it’s available for sale, that’s when I’ll look at it.

Glad to hear it, I’ve never envied anyone in the journalism tech insdustry when these types of announcements are imminent.

  • Even tho the look and feel of new devices is pretty much spoiled, and I’m not as excited for the keynote, I can’t wait to get a good look at Steve Jobs Theater. IMO, Apple Park is the most exciting thing Apple’s made in years.

    • Can you imagine the stress for the event staff today to get everything perfect for the grand opening of the theater AND a 10th anniversary phone event? I would not like to be anywhere backstage right now — unless I was being paid to do it and living the stress myself. 🙂
