Neil Young’s music is back in Apple Music—this is a happy day. Young removed his music from streaming services in July 2015 because he didn’t like the quality of music. I guess things have changed. Whatever happened, I’m glad he’s back.

Funny. What Young said about streaming last year was always how I felt about vinyl.
Same here. As a musician I always felt that when recordings I played on were pressed to vinyl they never sounded as good as what I heard in the control room. I would get reel to reel copies, and later DATs of the master tape and never listen to the vinyl.
Few have that as a basis of comparison. But I knew that, every time I handled and played an LP, I was damaging something that was already fragile to begin with.
