Kagi shuts down

It is with sadness that we announce Kagi has ceased operations as of July 31st, 2016.

Wow, I remember using Kagi to purchase shareware for many years.

    I feel bad for them. I wonder if anyone who investigated the original fraud that put them under, now feels the way Comey does about strong encryption.

    Just did a quick mail search – last transaction from them was for “Printer Setup Repair 5.0” from Fixamac software in 2005. I could’ve sworn there was more recent activity. Time flies, etc.

    In any case, quite a shame.

      Mine was only two years ago, for a very useful utility called “Neofinder.”

  • Very sad. If I’d known they were in financial trouble, I might have been willing to help out with a donation. I hope whomever perpetrated the fraud against them DIAF.

    Wow – I had forgotten about them. I did four shareware titles through them. I didn’t make a ton, but I made enough to buy bedroom furniture for my daughter. Those were fun times.
