AC/DC will not retire, but Malcolm is sick

Brian Johnson, AC/DC singer:

“We are definitely getting together in May in Vancouver,” he told the Telegraph. “We’re going to pick up some guitars, have a plonk, and see if anybody has got any tunes or ideas. If anything happens, we’ll record it.”

However, the band did release a statement:

“After forty years of life dedicated to AC/DC, guitarist and founding member Malcolm Young is taking a break from the band due to ill health. Malcolm would like to thank the group’s diehard legions of fans worldwide for their never-ending love and support.

“In light of this news, AC/DC asks that Malcolm and his family’s privacy be respected during this time. The band will continue to make music.”

The rumor is that Malcolm had a stroke and is having trouble playing guitar. He is the best rhythm guitarist in rock.

    Get well soon, Malcolm!

You don’t get any better than AC/DC. There are some that are just as good, but nobody better. They really did their own thing, created their own sound, contributed to music, and brought joy to an unbelievable number of fans. And they are all class.
