Paid is the only worth considering.

My 76 year-old dad has gotten hooked on Candy Crush Saga. I like Words with Friends and wanted to get him to play. Helping him over the phone, we couldn’t get the app store to let him download Words. When I finally had a chance to sit down with his iPad, it took me a while, but I finally figured out what was wrong.

He had set the clock on the iPad YEARS ahead, so that he could keep playing Candy Crush without being nickeled-and-dimed. My step mom does the same thing. They play that stupid game every night, but there is no way they’re going to keep paying over and over and over for the privilege. If it were just a one time purchase, I have no doubt they would have happily paid.
