Desperate move by Sony. Nicely smacked down by the kid.
Hilarious.
Damn, he nailed the ethos right off, eh?
Saw this last night, meant to tip you off but forgot. Glad you found it anyway. 🙂 Laughed hard.
So first Jimmy Kimmel establishes that this kid is absolutely brilliant. Then he shows off that brilliance by indicating that Android tablets are junk and can be just given away because they are getting an iPad for Christmas.
What a smart and quick-witted boy.
I’d never even heard of a Sony Xperia Z 6.4. Maybe the kid thought JK was pulling is leg. Yeah, the kid chose what I would have chosen, but still all the headlines say that Apple’s iPad is losing huge amounts of market share to Android tablets, so Android is definitely winning. Maybe that kid is smarter than the average cheapskate consumer who’ll settle for any tablet that costs under $300.
Why didn’t the jigsaw puzzle get its full name read out on air?
Sorry buddy, you’re just going to have to take a loss on that buy. No matter how many forums you post in, you’re not going to boost AAPL
I wonder just how blindsided Kimmel was by that rejection. Tricky, considering Sony is a sponsor of the show.
He can’t be that smart or he wouldn’t be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel.
I turned in at the 4:36 mark and was looking for my PVR remote. Started really paying attention at 5:23.
Too bad the video has been made private.
My 4yo kid would have done the same thing. We’re raising a generation of Apple fanboys damn it!
I guess that part has been edited out of the video.
Thanks to Sony I’m sure. Must hurt that they had to cut out the whole prizes section so they couldn’t even leave in Kimmel saying “And what’s this? A Sony blah-de-blah-blah XV73 HPW Tablet?”
Too bad the last part of the video has not been edited out.
It was edited out, kind of funny 🙂
Thanks for the reply, they have made the video public again! It was private when I checked.
Edit: Kay they put up an edited video, great.
You could have handed him any tablet and he would have preferred the iPad. What is sad is that The Loop edited it. But I found the REAL version other places on line.
