Game of Thrones recast as a medieval theme park comedy

The folks at Bad Lip Reading have knocked another one out of the park, assembling five minutes of footage from Game of Thrones, dubbing in nonsense dialogue that matches the lip movements of the actors, and reinventing the show as a comedy set at a renaissance festival.

Thank you Peter for making my day

Glad you enjoyed. Fuck the haters. 😛

Who are the haters here? I don’t think anyone here really disliked or hated what we saw. Some hopefully constructive criticisms is all.

  • John Barnes

That was great. I’d see that movie.

That was just awful. And how is it “bad lip-reading” when so much of the dialogue is from off-camera voices while showing reaction shots?

I’ve seen some very funny videos from these people before, but this one just doesn’t work for me.

  • James Hughes

Some of it was not dubbing in dialogue with the actual lip movements. It was digitally changed which in my opinion took away from an otherwise funny sketch.

Agreed. If your budget is high enough, you can do anything you want with this footage. It’s harder to come up with things to say that match existing dialog.

The above’s very funny, but I still prefer the guys who did “Happy in Paraguay” and “Soup Kitchen in My Pants.”

Great. I haven’t seen Game of Thrones yet… and thanks to these mutants, I never will be able to – not without laughing!
