Iconic: A Photographic Tribute to Apple Innovation

The result is a collection of more than 150,000 photos, some 3,500 of which Mr. Zufi displays on a website and more than 650 of which he has curated into a new 326-page coffee-table-sized book. “Iconic: A Photographic Tribute to Apple Innovation,” is self-published and available at www.iconicbook.com.

I’m very proud to say that along with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, I also contributed a foreword for this book. It is truly an amazing publication. You can also watch a video interview with Zufi on WSJ.

I want to see the flop of the iPod Hi-Fi!

      It’s in there!

It’s great to see good photography of this stuff. My envy of those who possess it all it is tempered, though.

I have to envy anyone who lives in a place with enough storage space to keep every Apple product they’ve ever owned. Had I ever lived in a house with an attic or garage, I would probably have hoarded gear that instead got donated to friends and charities.

I’m fairly happy about how many of my old Macs got second lives with people or institutions who needed them at the time. The SE, Quadra 650, Powercenter Pro 240, and G4 are probably all in landfills now, but at least they got put to use.

I ran out of room very quickly into the project and moved everything to climate controlled storage 🙂

Sir, you also have my fear of being drawn into the rabbit hole of always wanting to see your beautiful images of products I’m fascinated by. I hope the book sells well!

It’s not very clear is there a version on the iBook store, with all the pictures the book contained?

    • Jonathan Zufi

Hey Tom – it’s only available in print. To see photos online, please visit http://shrineofapple.com. Thanks!
