T-Mobile sells half a million iPhones in a month

As for the anticipated iPhone sales figures — they aren’t disappointing as the company announced the sale of approximately 500,000 units to new and existing customers to date.

T-Mobile only started selling the iPhone 5 in April, so it’s quite a nice bump for them.

I think they also mentioned they were adding 100,000 BYOD iPhones every month too, since opening up that option.

      Yup!

“During the first quarter of 2013 the Company continued to make significant progress with its BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program, adding approximately 100,000 previously owned iPhones to T-Mobile USA’s network per month.”

    1. Not even a full month. They said they sold 500,000 iPhone 5′s to date. iPhone 5′s became available 4/12/13 and the date of the press release is 5/8/13.
    2. That 500,000 report is purely iPhone 5′s. They are selling iPhone4 and 4S models as well. So it is quite possible that they sold more than 500,000 iPhones (4, 4S, and 5) in the first month.
