Poor reports, poor journalism

Matthew Panzarino gives us one good example of what’s wrong with writers these days.

Two wrong things are easy to notice.

First is that writers can’t write correct English. It has become more likely than not to see an apostrophe before the final s of plural nouns even though there is no trace of possession being expressed.

Second is that writers use their obscure personal blogs for calling out bad reports instead of the higher traffic ones they work for.

Obscure… really? Well except when it comes to critical Yep/Nope’s – how’s that non-possessive for you – then it becomes the one of the most closely watched blogs in tech media.

Give to the writers what is the writer’s?

Misuse of the apostrophe in “writer’s”?

“Matthew Panzarino gives us one good example of what’s wrong with writer’s these days.”

Should I be saying “LRN 2 RITE N00B” or “I see what you did there”?
