    As crazy as it sounds, I think I’m going to start saving money to get a pair at the end of the year. I didn’t think much of this until I saw The Verge’s look at them. I seriously think this might be the future.

    Not to be overly critical here, but the joke is ruined by how much the writer (presumably also the artist) has to drive the point home in such an obtuse way. I will make a full disclosure here and say that I think Google Glass is nerdy and awesome (“nerdily awesome”), but I know there’s gotta be some good jokes about how goofy it is and the potential privacy issues.

    This just isn’t one of those good jokes.

    I’m not going to get them because I DON’T WANT TO WEAR GLASSES!. I’m lucky enough to have 20/20 vision so I don’t have to deal with glasses or contacts. Give me a watch anyday over glasses (until glasses can give me a HUD like terminator or predator. Google’s HUD is useless).

      Really? Terminator or Predator HUDs are the bar for a real life “glass” HUD?
