    I love that these particular Muppets predate Kermit.

      While these Muppets definately date back to the first season of Sesame Street (can you tell me how to get there) in 1969. Kermit the Frog was a Sesame Street season 1 regular and as one of Jim Hensons oldest creations, appeared as far back as 1955′s Sam and Friends.

      As a child of the seventies who grew up watching Sesamie Street, the Muppet Show and other programs of the time (Electric Company) I’ve always felt that a little piece of my childhood died with Jim Henson in 1990.
