This is an app I’ve had on my iPhone since the very first version. It was just updated a couple of days ago and is still great.

    I’ve never understood the point of a tip calculator (this one looks very nice). Have we really become so dense that we can’t do 10, 15, 20, and 25 per cent in our heads and recognize results that are clearly wrong?

      The main reasons to use the app are the various rounding options and the palindrome feature to prevent frauds.

      I took calculus in college, but I’ve never been quick with doing arithmetic in my head. This app is convenient.

      It’s really handy when splitting bills. It’s also great to have after a couple glasses of wine when my otherwise-formidable math skills fly out the window.

    I love this app so much. But not everyone does. A taxi driver got very angry with me a few weeks ago when I spent 5 minutes trying to calculate his tip on my iPhone.
