Angus Young interview

Angus is such a great blues guitar player.

  • “When you’re a little guy, you just gotta try and compensate.” For a little bloke compensating, he does a pretty good Chuck, Jimi, JLH and so on. Great clip.

  • I enjoyed this interview, but I’ve been watching interviews with this guy (and Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page, and Jimi Hendrix, and Eddie Van Halen, and Joe Perry, and Stevie Ray Vaugn, and Mark Knopfler, and a dozen others) since I was 13. I wouldn’t dispute their amazing work or the influence on the several generations of guitarists since, but… has nobody else done anything new on the guitar since 1982? Is there a famous guitar player born in the forties who hasn’t given ten thousand interviews already? Do any of these Rock Gods have any lessons left to teach that they didn’t already hand down three decades ago?

He is so f**ing humble. I like him even more.
