    Awesome. FInally I’ll be able to get my hands on it. I’m just REALLY scared of prices. iPhones in Brazil via carriers cost more than unlocked devices in the US.

      Is it possible to import an unlocked phone from the US?

        If you import it via any traditional means, brazilian customs will charge you with 60% over the value of the item, so it ends up really really expensive. It’s insane.

        What we’re left with is either buying it when travelling abroad, or have a friend bring it to us. My brother went to the US in october and tried buying it with daily visits to Apple Stores, with no luck. Now that the iPhone 5 seems to be back in stock, that’s what I’ll end up doing.
