Analysts on Apple earnings

Philip Elmer-DeWitt has a good rundown of what analysts are saying after Apple’s Q4 earnings report.

Love ’em or hate ’em, analysts’ reports have a direct bearing on Apple’s stock performance and the perception of how the company is doing with Wall Street investors, so it’s worth paying attention to.

  • You kind of get the feeling that very few people at Apple actually give a f#ck about their stock price… and the few that do, are not allowed to mix-and-mingle with the rest of the company.

This happens every year before or just after a big announcement, so I don’t know why investors do so little research and end up relying on ANALyst reports.

Personally I don’t give a shit what the analysts say. Too often they are talking out of their asses etc.

I listen to the real facts. What actually gets released, what the sales numbers are etc.
