    wow, look at the joy on people’s faces. Every time someone wants to cut the space program funding, they should be shown these.

      I agree, but isn’t it a fait accompli (not sure of spelling) at this point? Our public space program in the US has already been cut to the point that we can no longer repeat past accomplishments- like sending people into orbit on American rockets- and it will be years before the private sector or NASA gets us back to that point. I can’t help but feel depressed when I look at these photos.

    Space is important to use average every-day Americans. We do not take such things lightly.
