SNL lampoons iPhone 5 complaints

This week’s Saturday Night Live featured a segment called “Tech Talk,” in which host Christina Applegate paired off tech journos whining about the iPhone 5 with very unsympathetic Chinese factory workers.

You can view the video on the SNL Web site.

(Don’t be surprised if you have trouble viewing this outside the U.S.)

Great. Now the next time I see my parents, they’ll ask about problems with the iPhone that they heard about “somewhere”…

  • sethdillingham

    That was beautiful.

  • The inaccurate part is when those whining tech journos start making a move to get out of the set… As if they had any clue…

Thanks Peter, for those of us outside the U.S.

My trouble was the obnoxious insistence on putting this thing up on autopsy. So every time the index page reloaded, say so I could go to an earlier article, I had to hear it again, and again.

  • 1st world problems. 🙂 A couple chuckles, here/there, but I dig their approach. 🙂

Ive heard nothing but good about the phone itself but that they in some cases realy sufferd with the map but for a very short time yet the tech itself is of quality Finnish we here there is a compleat overhaul at the factory lets face it though the phone is like a rollex whatch built by craftsmen mail and femail. it has to be so anything that does go wrong is put right. this does mean that these. craftsmen have to be seen as such. i personely can see that as we develope and future phones pads e.g. get more and more futuristic there will another look at how work space for all will beef a new appearance and just as high in quality in stations as the tech leases produced them selves

SNL hasn’t been that great for a while, but Christina Applegate definitely brought it up a bit. The iPhone 5 complaint skit was one of my favorites of the night. It made a good point about the complaining of tech reviewers of today. I couldn’t catch the show the other night since I was working late at DISH. I set my Hopper a while back to automatically record the entire season to the two terabyte DVR and then watched it the next morning. I am just happy that I can watch it when I want without having to worry about how much recording space I’ve got. I am definitely looking forward to seeing Bruno Mars this weekend!
