Oh Microsoft

I know it’s a blue shirt and a lanyard, but does everything have to look like Apple did it?

Expert picks? They must have a directory of the nearest Apple Store locations, then just send you to the nearest one.

Blue t-shirts and lanyards are the only OBVIOUS way to outfit technical support people. Apple just happened to reach that inevitable design first.

Yeah… but it’s too many coincidences don’t you think? I’ve read & heard “Apple just happened to reach that inevitable design first” for years now. Why don’t others do it before Apple at least once! Apple does stuff before others and others follow/copy it because they do it right. Simple as that. And I think it’s just fair even to sue for the rectangular iPhone design because it’s just the right way to be done and nobody’s done it before. Other companies do have research and designers as well I guess. They’re just getting lazy these days it seems.

Someone needs to get his sarcasm detector checked out – presumably by someone in a blue shirt.

  • No

fashion is not trademark-able. so there.

      Hence all the cheap knockoffs.

So, considering the new Microsoft logo uses the colors red, green, blue and yellow, did they really have to use blue instead of one of the other colors? Was it the only way to dress their customer support people?

How about the Microsoft people try a button down shirt instead? It would fit the image of their company better. Just be yourselves Microsoft, no one likes a fake.

A nice polo w/Microsoft (or the coloured logo) stitched on the chest to promote the company.

In all fairness Microsoft’s logotype was blue before Apple started their retail stores :)
