The very definition of having your head up your ass

Michael Dell just doesn’t see what’s happening around him.

I believe the expression is “whistling past the graveyard.”

I’d shut it down and give the money back to the shareholders.

Check Michael’s family tree. I’d bet he’s either related to the WWII French general who told the French government, “The Maginot Line will hold against the Germans!” (which it did for like 45 minutes) or those who stated the Titanic was “unsinkable.” Maybe he has ancestors from both of these brilliant prognosticators…

I don’t think he’s ignorant to what’s happening at all. However, I also don’t expect him to stand before the world (and his shareholders) and loudly proclaim, “Well, folks… we’ve utterly missed the boat and this company is now going nowhere fast.” This is just typical PR. What exactly do you expect him to say?

I think you’re exactly right, but it doesn’t make it any less funny when he stands before the world uttering nonsense on par with Baghdad Bob that totally contradicts everything we can happening see with our own eyes.

        True. :)

    Karma. It’s a beotch, ain’t it Michael?

He thinks he’s being witty but it just shows he doesn’t know the definition of the term as it is used by Apple. It doesn’t mean not having a computer, just that said computer isn’t the end all and be all of digital life anymore

It’s like the folks that think that Retina Display means 300 dpi or higher or doubling the highest current resolution. It doesn’t.
