Tim’s Cook’s memo to Apple employees

Today was an important day for Apple and for innovators everywhere. Many of you have been closely following the trial against Samsung in San Jose for the past few weeks. We chose legal action very reluctantly and only after repeatedly asking Samsung to stop copying our work. For us this lawsuit has always been about something much more important than patents or money. It’s about values. We value originality and innovation and pour our lives into making the best products on earth. And we do this to delight our customers, not for competitors to flagrantly copy.

An important day indeed.

    Dear Apple Employees,

We are happy to announce that we have successfully defended our companies right to pilfer and troll patents world wide, wile claiming that we are the original developers, even though we clearly aren’t. The discision to embark on the many, many lawsuits against other companies was a decision that came easily, as it was neccissary to protect our corrupt marketing practices; and necissary to defend our right to flagrantly use others works, wile preventing competitors from doing the same. Thank you for all of your hard work and remember, we as a company have no values, its really all about patents and money.

    Sincerely yours,

    -Tim-

P.S. – We really don’t care about originality, many of our works are actually based on designs created by others, dating all the way back to the 70′s, really we have just refined those designs and made them prettier. As far as innovation, well, we agree with innovation as long as it is done the way we want, at the speed we think is proper. Since 2010, our competitors have consistently brought superior products to market, with features light years ahead of ours, and we as a team need to take any steps necissary to prevent that in the future. Our goals aren’t to actually innovate and bring the best products to market, as we claim, we should instead focus on locating and purchasing companies that hold patents that we can use as weapons against others. Thereby preventing them continuing this outrageous practice. Profits not development and technology are our goals.

I figured with hatred as short-sighted as yours you might need to read this twice:

        Shouldn’t your login name be idon’tletfactsinfluencemyopinionsatall6682 ?

I wish I could see your babbling as satire but it doesn’t have that ring to it one bit (or byte).

I got to say one thing that differentiates you from all the other Apple haters- You sure need a lot of words.

As I read your polemic searching for any sense of rationality I remembered an old adage, “Everyone can hear a donkey braying but know one listens to it.”

If I was Mr. Cook, I would take that court award and donate it to a half of a dozen different charities around the world. That would be truly epic!
