In the quarter ended March 31, 2012, iPhone had sales of $22.7 billion; Microsoft Corporation, $17.4 billion.
Now when we say “worth” there’s a number of different things that we can mean.
Agreed. “Worth” may be a bit misleading but there’s no argument about the sales numbers.

Why would we WANT Ballmer to get booted? Him running MS virtually ensures Apple’s success in the computer market – and provides great comic relief for everyone who follows tech in general.
How about for the sake of the economy and jobs and. . .just for the sake of having some semblance of a worthy “opponent” so that there can be some healthy rivalry?
