NBC interviews Evander Holyfield, but didn’t recognize him

They decided to get some “man on the street” comments from tourists in front of Buckingham Palace, and one of them was Evander Holyfield! Blink and you’ll miss him—Holyfield thought the segment was “wonderful”—but the NBC crew didn’t seem to recognize the former world heavyweight champ (and Olympic medalist).

    Is that really fair though, Jim? Would you seriously recognize every single Olympian or famous athlete if he or she was in your presence?

      Yea but people in post production should have sports people in the both that would have recognize him.

    I think it’s a little silly to expect anyone to remember an olympian like this from years ago. Even if they didn’t have a major event to cover and weren’t constantly inundated with new athletes everywhere, it would still be difficult and obscure to recognize this guy.
