    Which is funny, given that when it comes to music and movies, he has the EXACT opposite view. I guess musicians and other artists can starve, but programmers need to do whatever it takes to make money.

    No, when he asked about those industries he said that the problem was that the COMPANIES, are screwing over the buyer. He then talks about how the problem with Android is an even worse problem that cannot be fixed by policy changes.

    Also, he’s a programmer with not nearly as much knowledge on the media industries. He has actual knowledge of the development world, and that is why he proposes that developers move off of Android. Nobody would listen to him if he called for artists to move to ____ as he is not relevant in that industry.
