Law firm sues Proview after iPad settlement

Steven Sande:

In a strangely humorous case of “what goes around comes around”, the law firm that helped Chinese manufacturer Proview win a US$60 million settlement against Apple for use of the trademark “iPad” in China is now suing Proview to get back at least $2.4 million in legal fees that have been left unpaid.

They did their job and they deserve to get paid. It’s part of the game. And it makes sense that they would go to court to get that money and not have it turn into another asset to pay off Proview’s debts if that’s what it takes.

I hope they win the $2.4 million on previously contracted legal fees and Proview has to pay their fees for this suit.

Can there be any doubt now that this company was screwing Apple over? Just precious.
