    He makes a great point, but one area were MS could help themselves would be to actually code, create and release a nice, stable and feature-par version of Office for Mac as they have for Windows. They would make a LOT of money that way, as we are still in the time were most businesses are dominated by Windows (a trend decreasing though) and so as to keep the tools the same, people would fork out for a GOOD version of Office for Mac …

    Actually, Office 2011 for Mac is quite good and, IMO, one of the reasons why switching from PC to Mac has been accelerating. No, it does not have every feature that Office for Windows has but, then again, most people probably use about 10% of the features in this bloated suite. In fact, I know many PC users who would welcome a simpler version that sacrificed a few advanced features.
