      Ha ha – I remember those. There was one in my city that closed after three months. It looked like a freakin’ barn inside. I thought I was shopping in “Maw and Paw’s Good Ole’ General Store.”

      I haven’t seen any MSFT stores by Apple stores but that’d be funny to see. :)

        Considering how few MS store exist, its most likely you just haven’t seen one at all, lol. Seriously, the closest one to me is 2 states away.

          Nope, there is one here [Houston] in the Galleria Mall and it is on the same floor as the Apple store but probably 50-70 yards away and not in view from the other.

    mang, i guess they would say that is the natural way to display/run a phone/tablet/computer store. can Samsung just innovate on its own?

    I dunno, they’ve clearly tried to differentiate. Pretty much all the cosmetic details are different (colder materials, rounded corners etc.). It looks more like a carrier store than anything Apple would want. The MS stores were much more of a blatant facsimile.

    I’ve never seen an Apple store that empty, even when the mall’s closed and the lights are out. Yeesh…
