RTÉ News:

It is understood the protest was in relation to the use by IT companies of coal to power data centres for cloud computing.

But then again, Greenpeace lied about numbers - http://mhl.nu/greenpeace-kind-of-lied-their-numbers-are-wrong.html

Greenpeace are dirty, law-breaking scum that I will never respect.

care to elaborate on why they are scum? that’s a harsh word

Sorry, didn’t realize that you’d responded to me till now (signing in to Disqus via Twitter can have issues) but to elaborate: if you look throughout many articles online and reports you will find that Greenpeace often do illegal things to try and make their point and gain attention. In some cases their point is valid, in most cases it isn’t. Doing it illegally isn’t the answer either. Recently they destroyed thousands of dollars of crops in Canberra Australia where CSIRO where doing research because of misinformation and ego boosting; this was a massive pain and has set the research back quite a bit. Adding onto that the other reports of some of their stupid and illegal activity, I felt justified in my statement above.

It isn’t even the first time they’ve made up numbers either. I wonder when people will catch on to how Greenpeace is the Daisey of environmentalists.
