Apple is not working on a project with Philippe Starck

Reached for comment, an Apple spokeswoman said the company is not working on a new product with Starck.

If he was working on a project with Apple, he isn’t any more.

    But there’s a difference between “product”, which is what Apple said, and “project” which is what Starck is reported as having claimed.

    Ugh, stories like this are stupid. If someone was actually working for Apple and wanted to stay employed, they would keep their mouth shut. All it takes is a bit of common sense to figure that out.

    Lost in translation :  The journalist pressured Stark with questions about Apple While Stark only said and repeated he monthly met with Steve Jobs (and now his Widow) for the last 7 years. The only direct mention to Apple was to say something like You know With Apple It’s all about the cult of secrecy, religiously even…

    The part about having a Project together may have referred to Apple, but not if you listen (and understand French). The together refers to him and Steve Jobs (Family), not to him and Apple.

    I sincerely hope there is no collaboration between Starck and Apple. Starck is a fraud, you should listen to him (french), the guy live on another planet. Nonsense, no inspiration. I think I’d be disappointed at Apple to lauch a Starck designed product. If it hapenned, I would not be surprised for it to be named iEgo!
